This issue, guest edited by Dr. Federico Rea, provides comprehensive perspectives and surgical techniques in the tracheal surgery field to surgeons all around the world, which we hope will also be beneficial to the growth of young surgeons. Moreover, it aims to provide an all-round picture of a complex field of thoracic surgery, highlighting the more advanced and new techniques both in the open, minimally invasive and endoscopic approach.
