After the great success of the Ninth Postgraduate Course in 2017, with the participation of more than 600 attendees from 30 countries, we are honored to announce the tenth edition of “Surgery of the Thoracic Aorta”, which will take place in Bologna on 11th and 12th November 2019.
This interactive meeting will focus on the open, hybrid, transcatheter and endovascular techniques employed during surgery on the thoracic aorta. The Course is addressed to Surgeons, Cardiologists, Radiologists and Anesthetists. Participants will be offered an attractive and diverse scientific programme containing a full spectrum of exchange andlearning opportunities.
The programme will also include a number of live surgery demonstrations in order to illustrate state-of-the art procedures and technologies. The course has the privilege of having a high-level Faculty with specialists from all over the world.
The event will take place in a very relaxed and casual atmosphere so that all participants can openly exchange opinions and experiences. You are also invited to send videos showing your personal surgical experiences related to the topics of the meeting which will be presented and discussed during specific interactive sessions devoted to each topic.
The venue is Bologna, a very elegant and ancient city, which is also famous for its University and, of course, for its cuisine.
