Dawn E. Jaroszewski, M.D., MBA, FACS

Dr. Jaroszewski is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Cardiothoracic surgeon at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She earned her B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Texas and medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  She trained at Mayo Clinic in general surgery, Baylor/MD Anderson in Cardiothoracic Surgery and did an advanced chest fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles.  She returned to Mayo Clinic Arizona in 2006 and serves as a senior consultant and Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Double boarded in both Cardiothoracic and General surgery, Dr. Jaroszewski is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is an active member in the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Southern Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and the Chest Wall International Group. She is an investigator for the National Institutes of Health and National Cancer Institute and serves as an NCCN Esophageal and Gastric Cancer guideline panel member.

Dr. Jaroszewski specializes in pectus and chest wall deformities. As director of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Mayo Clinic Chest Wall Program, the center has become one of the largest volume adult pectus treatment sites in North America. She has been involved in over 100 research projects and publications of peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, book chapters and presents internationally on her expertise.
