Xinxin Wang, MD

After graduating from People's Liberation Army Medical School and being visiting scholar of general surgery in University of Cincinnati, Dr. Wang joins the faculty at the General Surgery Department of PLA General Hospital.
He has been in charge of one of PLA General Hospital nursery technological innovation fund and two research programs: State Natural Sciences Foundation Monumental Projects and Beijing Nova Program. He was elected as one of “Ten Outstanding Young People” in PLA General Hospital in 2010 and won the second prize in the recent Chinese Young Surgeons of Gastric Cancer Surgical Video Contest at Beijing. Dr. Wand was also invited to present his works in many national and international conferences.
His clinical interest includes the basic and clinical research of gastrointestinal neoplasm, gastric cancer stem cells and proteome research in anti-angiogenic of gastric cancer. Dr. Wang is also active in academic contribution with many works being published.
