Dr. Mi Lin is a graduate of Fujian Medical University, China in 2014 (M.D). She received training in General Surgery, Gastric Surgery, and Laparoscopic Gastrectomy at Fujian Medical University Union Hospital. She is currently Gastric Surgeon in Fujian Medical University Union Hospital and a member of Youth committee of Health science branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care. Till now, she has published 5 articles in the source of SCI journals. As an editorial board member, she published Laparoscopic Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer: Surgical Technique and Lymphadenectomy in English and Laparoscopic Gastrectomy for Gastric Cancer in Chinese. 

In the gastric surgery department of Fujian Medical University Union Hospital, where Dr. Mi Lin works, there are more than 800 cases per year underwent laparoscopic gastrectomy and more than 5000 cases in total were performed laparoscopic gastrectomy for gastric cancer or other gastric tumor by the team of gastric surgery department. Her center first proposed "Huang's three-step maneuver", a new operative method suitable for laparoscopic spleen-preserving splenic hilar lymphadenectomy. This method simplifies the procedure of laparoscopic spleen-preserving splenic hilar lymphadenectomy and facilitates its popularization and promotion. In addition, her center was the first to perform the totally laparoscopic distal gastrectomy with delta-shape anastomosis in China, and the completed cases were most in China.
