Preface on the focused issue on the 2^nd Cambridge International VATS Symposium

I am delighted to be the editor for this special issue of the Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS) about the second Cambridge International VATS Symposium. This now annual event allows participants from all over the world to share knowledge and experience with international key opinion leaders.

During the 2 days the mix of theoretical lectures and practical demonstration, together with the possibility of trying high level vats simulation, made the course almost unique in the current vats educational offer.
