Non-intubated uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery-lobectomy in Germany—the first 2 cases

We report the first two cases of non-intubated uniportal lobectomy for lung cancer in Germany performed by Dr. Rivas in June 2018 at the Hannover Medical School. An in-depth look at patient selection, perioperative management and postoperative care is given, and pitfalls are discussed.
