Published: 2019-10-14

Since its launch in 2015, the Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS) has been loved by the community of surgeons and continually providing a professional platform for the sharing of experience in Visualized Surgery between peers so that all patients may benefit from advances made in technique and technology.

To better meet the need of the journal development, we here announce that starting from January 1st, 2020, the Journal of Visualized Surgery (JOVS) will be a quarterly publication.

The Journal of Visualized Surgery (ISSN 2221-2965; J Vis Surg; JOVS; jovs.amegroups.com) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on visualized surgery, including instructional and educational video clips, photos, and schematics of visualized surgical procedures. It focuses on instructional and educational video clips, photos, schematics of Visualized Surgical procedures, rather than lengthy text.

Despite the change of publication frequency, JOVS will strive for offering a fast publication path whilst maintaining rigorous peer review.

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,
